Residential Solutions
-
The Hi-wall heat pump system is suitable for single or multiple rooms throughout your home using a multi unit system. Hi-wall units are the most common and cost effective option to heat and cool your home.
Our wall models range in capacity from 3.5 kW for small areas (e.g. bedrooms) up to the larger 10 kW models for open plan areas and higher ceiling rooms.
These units mount at a high level (generally 2m above floor) on a wall. All feature downward direction louvers, most important in ensuring heat reaches the floor.
-
Like the hi-wall heat pump, floor units are also available as single or multiple room units for use throughout your home using a multi-unit system.
Our most popular domestic seller is the floor/wall semi-recessed range. While these are available in 3.5 – 8.2 kW capacity this range is currently being expanded to larger capacity models.
Floor models are generally designed to mount just above the skirting board. On homes being built or renovated they can be semi-recessed into the wall to give the unit a “built in” appearance. With a low-level outlet grille these units are excellent for heating and, unlike the high wall range, require no assistance to reach the filter for cleaning.
-
Cassette heat pumps are ideal where limited wall or floor space is available to site a hi-wall or floor unit. With the bulk of the unit recessed in the ceiling they are discrete and quiet in operation.
-
This range is growing in popularity. Once you have experienced a ducted in-built system you won’t want to consider anything else for your heating and cooling comfort. Indoor units can be concealed in the ceiling cavity, bulkheads or garage, while supply and return air ducts can be concealed in walls, ceilings, bookcases or built into furniture with inlet and outlet grilles on the face.
The capacity for these models starts at 5 kW and goes up to 18 kW- and are the ultimate in quite, discrete heating and cooling.

Our range of Underfloor Heating and Hot Water Heating heat pumps can provide heating of hot water for both underfloor, wall radiators or potable water cylinders. With extremely good energy efficiencies these systems work particularly well in underfloor situations and should be seriously considered when building. Often the same size heat pump can also provide your potable hot water needs when coupled to our optional hot water cylinder. The system comprises an outdoor unit which couples to an indoor hydro box and valve panel or to the optional hot water cylinder. Both of these can easily be accommodated in the garage or laundry areas.
-
Heat Recovery Units (HRU) are ventilation systems that simultaneously draw outside air in & inside air out via a heat recovery process. Simply put these systems exhaust air from the home from toilets/bathrooms/laundries but rather than waste the heat directly to outside it’s extracted at the heat exchanger & transferred into the incoming outside air to temper it. These systems are ideal for ensuring good indoor air quality as well as keeping condensation levels low in winter. The latter is becoming more of an issues as our homes become more airtight.
Commercial Solutions
-
It is crucial to provide favourable working and living conditions in commercial buildings, where some people spend almost half of their day. Properly designed and installed air-conditioning and ventilation systems will have a positive impact on the well-being and concentration of workers, which is of exceptional importance. A good climate in business premises is literally ”visible”, as it has positive effects on the occupants.
-
Kitchen hood extraction and make-up air systems, together with cooling are essential for every commercial kitchen. Kitchen ventilation should be well-synchronized with other technologies in the kitchen. The right selection of kitchen hoods can bring significant cost savings and eliminate possible draft issues within the kitchen. It should also be planned how legionella can be prevented by means of kitchen ventilation. Since kitchen air is much more greasy, the filters should be cleaned regularly.
-
Swimming pool ventilation and air-conditioning should work seamlessly in the background and offer occupants the perfect type of relaxation, while optimizing the costs of swimming pool operation. From a technical perspective, an intelligent air-conditioning technology with strong de-humidification capacity and a high rate of energy recovery should be provided. This is important in order to assure a strategic lowering of operating costs, while dehumidification of spaces can effectively prevent windows from fogging & excessive condensation from damaging the pool room structure.
Air exchange should also be observed in swimming pool air-conditioning; water from the pool releases chlorine oxide, which can, in excessive amounts, harmfully affect the respiratory tract and even cause permanent damage. The air is also filled with microparticles, which can facilitate the growth of mould – this can be prevented by air ventilation and swimming hall construction physics. Therefore, the reliability of the energy system carries a significant importance.
We also offer hot water heat pump systems for heating of pool water.

Retirement Villages & Hotel ventilation should be regarded as part of an integral energy solution. The requirements of individual rooms must be carefully examined (reception, kitchen, dining room, swimming pool and hotel rooms) and ventilation, heating and cooling requirements of the Retirement Village / Hotel precisely calculated. The key factor is that systems should not be over-designed as this can unnecessarily generate high investment and monthly running costs for the operator/owner. It is also important not to under-design as this can reduce room comfort resulting in room conditions to being either too hot during summer or too cold during winter. All this affects the satisfaction of guests and impacts their evaluation as well as their decision, in the case of hotels, whether to return or choose a different one.
-
Mechanical ventilation and air conditioning for Cinemas & Theatres are essential and quite often very challenging. Its critical to select the right mechanical equipment and secure a quiet and comfortable indoor environment for occupants.
-
School ventilation requires a high and constant rate of air exchange, to provide sufficient amounts of fresh air to the children at the time of their development; the air must be well-filtered and must not contain mites or bacteria, which can promote allergies. The CO2 content should also be controlled via a constant supply of fresh air, which ensures optimal concentration, prevents headaches and fatigue. In these situations, heat recovery ventilation is the best solution where waste heat is recovered from the outgoing air resulting in energy savings. Energy savings can be enhanced further if controlled by a CO2 sensor, measuring air quality & staging fan speed in the heat recovery unit.
Educational insitutions have many different needs: in addition to classrooms and lecture halls, the school cafeteria, kitchen, gym, laboratories, server rooms, etc. should also be considered. All of this requires a well-designed and harmonised energy concept, comprised of several different devices that provide the best conditions for the lowest operating costs.
Last but not least, the correct distribution of air in kindergartens and schools is also of great importance, as it can prevent the air from blowing directly on the children and teachers, which can cause headaches or colds. Children and adolescents are particularly sensitive to the latter.
