New Position: Accounts administrator

We have a vacancy for the above position

The role is initially 8.30 to 1.00pm daily with future hours to be confirmed (flexible start time negotiable).

Applicants must:

  • Have a good knowledge of accounting & office practices
  • Be familiar with the Xero accounting system
  • Have excellent phone and email manner
  • Have excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Be self-driven & able to work effectively without supervision
  • Be able to function with other staff in our busy office
  • Have a valid NZ work visa
  • In addition to the above a knowledge of the Simpro jobbing/invoice system would be a definite advantage

It is expected the applicant will be able to:

  • Undertake GST returns
  • Deal with creditor queries
  • Set up monthly account payments & send statements
  • Reconcile bank statements/supplier orders
  • Follow up/process orders/packing slip documentation
  • Whilst position is essentially an accounting one it is expected the successful applicant would assist with other office duties as required.
